All Final Exams and Final Evaluations/Conferences for full semester length classes are to be scheduled during the Evaluation Period (May 10-16, 2008). May 8-9, 2008 is a Study Period (no classes).

  • The times shown for Exams indicate the maximum time allowed. It is the responsibility of each instructor to inform students in each class how long the final exam will run.
  • Final Exams for classes that meet only once per week should be scheduled on the same day of the week as the class meets and during a scheduled block of time, whenever possible.
  • Final Exams for Saturday or Sunday only classes are to be scheduled on Saturday, May 10, or Sunday, May 11 of the Evaluation Period, and will begin at the normal start time of the class.
  • Classes which meet for larger blocks of time – such as some Technical and Occupational classes – should have their Final Exams and Final Evaluations/Conferences scheduled during the Evaluation Period in a manner that does not conflict with the students’ other final exams.
  • Classes which are not scheduled for the full-semester – e.g., modular classes – should schedule Final Exams during regular class times before the ending date of the class.
  • In cases where conflicts exist, the Division Chairs should be consulted.
