Parking Information

All students who park vehicles on the Honolulu Community College campus are required to display parking permits.

How To Apply For Parking Lottery

Eligible students can apply for parking immediately AFTER registering for classes on MyUH Portal.

  1. From the Payment Options & Policies page, click Honolulu CC Parking Lottery - Fall 2009
  2. Click Honolulu CC Parking Lottery - Fall 2009
  3. After you have made a selection, click on "Survey Complete"

If you forgot to apply for the parking lottery after you have registered, you can still apply for the parking lottery by July 17, 2009:

  1. Log on to MyUH Portal
  2. Click on Academic Services
  3. Under Personal Information, click on Honolulu CC Student Parking Lottery
  4. Click Honolulu CC Parking Lottery - Fall 2009
  5. After you have made a selection, click on "Survey Complete"

On-Campus Parking (Lots 1 and 3)

Parking Permits for Lot 1 and Lot 3 will be sold to continuing students only through a lottery system. To qualify a student must:

  1. Have been enrolled in at least one HCC class at the start of the Spring 2009 term.
  2. Have registered and have completed the Parking Lottery Survey form on MyUH Portal by July 17, 2009.

A list of students selected in the lottery will be posted on the Ewa entrance of Building 6 and online the morning of July 24, 2009. Permits will be sold beginning July 27, 2009 at the Cashier’s Office 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Permits available for sale to non-lottery students on August 10, 2009 on a space-available basis.

Incinerator Lot, M-Th 7:00 AM-4:00 PM, Saturday as needed 7:00 AM-12:30 PM

Off-Campus Parking (Lot 8)

Lot 8 Parking Permits (Off-Campus, 10-minute walk) will be sold to both new and continuing students on a first-come first-served basis beginning August 10, 2009 . Students with Lot 8 permits will be allowed to park in Lots 1, 3, and 7 on a space available basis after 1:30 PM.

Evening/Weekend Parking

Students attending Evening/Saturday classes are encouraged to purchase Evening/Saturday Parking Permits and park in On-Campus student designated lots. Off-Campus Parking surrounding the campus is on poorly lit and isolated streets; therefore, parking on campus is strongly recommended.

Motorcycle Parking

Motorcycle Parking Permits are required for motorcycle parking on campus. Parking is restricted to designated areas in Lots 2 and 3.

Disability Parking

Use of On-Campus Disability Parking Stalls (Lots 1 and 3) requires that students purchase an On-Campus Parking Permit and present their Disability Parking ID and completed Disability Parking Request

and at the Student ACCESS Office, Health Office, and Cashier’s Office) to the Cashier at the time of purchase.

If disability parking stalls are occupied, parking is permitted in any marked parking stall on campus.

On-Campus Disability Parking eligibility expires when the Disability Parking ID expires or when the semester ends, whichever comes first.

Purchasing Parking Permits

When purchasing permits students must:

  1. Have paid their tuition and fees IN FULL or enrolled in a payment plan.
  2. Present Driver’s license
  3. Present Vehicle registration
  4. Present Proof of Insurance coverage
  5. For disability parking, present official and valid State of Hawai‘i Disability Parking ID Card.

Unclaimed parking permits will not be resold. Parking citations will be issued to all vehicles without valid parking permits parked in permit areas beginning August 24, 2009.
