 MELE students have the opportunity to become involved in Student Life at HCC and in the greater Honolulu community through participation in student organizations. M.E.L.E. Club The M.E.L.E. Club was established FALL 2008, as a Honolulu Community College Club, for the purpose of promoting growth in the music and entertainment industry throughout Hawai'i and abroad. The Club provides members with the opportunity to apply knowledge acquired through the program to a real world environment. M.E.L.E. Club members pay dues, attend meetings, participate in elections, and are a part of the broader HCC Student Life and Development department and ASUH-HCC Student Senate Campus Clubs Committee. Club members have been active in many interesting and important projects such as the MELE Showcase, Christmas Lokahi Project, participating in the Hoku Lifetime Achievement Awards, Walk a Mile in Her Shoes, Springfest, and helping with the Hoku Awards. 
Audio Engineering Society Plans are underway to form an AES student chapter. Look for more information on AES coming soon. Grammy UPlans are underway for MELE students to become involved with NARAS and Grammy U. More information coming soon. Grammy University Network.
