Reserve Collection

Reserve materials consist of course-related items provided by HCC instructors for shared-use by students. These items may include:

• supplementary readings
• course notes
• audiovisual material
• cable course videotapes

Access
To obtain reserve materials from the Circulation Desk you need to have a valid UH system ID and know the name of the instructor for your course. For cable course videotapes, students must be enrolled in the HCC cable course.

Loan Policies
Most materials are for use in the library only and loan times vary. Loan periods are determined by the instructor.

Cable Course Videotapes
Cable course videotapes may be viewed in the library, or borrowed overnight. Since the library owns only 1 copy of each videotape, there is a charge of $1.00 for each day the video is overdue. Videotapes must be checked out and returned to the HCC Circulation Counter.
