Honolulu Community College Library subscribes to
online databases of full-text magazine, newspaper, and journal articles.
Login and validation with your last name and library card
or UH student ID number are required for off-campus
connection. Your library card should be updated each semester
in order to access these databases remotely. Contact a reference
librarian if you have questions.
InfoTrac
Multi-subject databases containing articles from general interest
magazines, professional and scholarly journals, and newspapers.
Many are full-text.
EBSCOHost
Sizable collection of full-text magazine and journal articles, subjects
covering education, health, business, and social science. There
are databases for all levels, from primary school through higher
education. Many articles are full-text.
SIRS
Knowledge Source (SKS)
Full-text articles, documents, and reference materials from US and
international publications, plus selected Web sites, including articles
on social issues, global issues, and government sources.
Science
Direct
Search for scientific, technical and medical information, including
articles from peer-reviewed academic journals.
Literary
Reference Center
Information from over 1,000 books and monographs, major literary
encyclopedias and reference works, and literary journals on the
most studied authors and their works.
ebrary
An eBook collection of more than 30,000 titles that span academic
subject areas.
