  Located at Keaukaha and Panaewa on the Big Island of Hawaii, PACRC supports commercial aquaculture, fisheries and eco-tourism and provides an infrastructure for the aquaculture and marine science programs at the University of Hawaii at Hilo
• Center for Tropical and Subtropical Aquaculture (CTSA)
  One of five regional aquaculture centers in the United States established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), CTSA supports aquaculture research, development, demonstration and extension education in American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, Hawaii, the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, and Palau. CTSA is administered by the Oceanic Institute and the University of Hawaii.
• Network of Aquaculture Centres in Asia-Pacific (NACA)
  NACA "promotes rural development through sustainable aquaculture" through education and training, research, development of information networks, and aquatic animal health management. Their site offers a wealth of news, articles, online discussion groups, and free electronic magazines and newsletters.

• Pacific Islands Marine Portal
  A collaboration between the Pacific Islands Marine Resources Information System (PIMRIS) and the UNESCO IOC IODE to improve access to Pacific marine information for the Pacific islands community.

  The Aquaculture Network Information Center is a gateway to the world's electronic aquaculture resources, including information about aquatic species, ponds, and other aquaculture systems; online courses; and links to other Web sites.

• CoRIS
  NOAA's Coral Reef Information System is a one-stop resource for coral reef data and information from the programs and projects of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
• ReefCheck
  "An international program that works with communities, governments and businesses to scientifically monitor, restore and maintain coral reef health."
  The ReefCheck site includes news, issues, and controversies.
• Coral Reef Alliance (CORAL)
  An international organization working exclusively to save coral reefs through "education, tools, and inspiration to help local communities"

• International Coral Reef Action Network (ICRAN)
  Dedicated to halting and reversing the decline of the health of the world's coral reefs
• Hawaii Coral Reef Network
  Resources about reefs and marine life
• Papahanaumokuakea Marine National Monument
  Part of the National Marine National Sanctuary Program, this NOAA site includes the conservation management plan, an encyclopedia about flora and fauna of the area, photos and videos, and more

  The FishBase global information system contains nearly all fish species known to science.
• Census of Marine Life

  Developed by the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of UNESCO
• Institute for Ocean Conservation Science at Stony Brook University, New York
  "Dedicated to advancing ocean conservation through science" through research about critical threats. Formerly the Pew Institute for Ocean Science.

  Explore the ecosystem of a sea vent on the ocean floor
  A project of the Earth & Environmental Science site of the National Science Foundation
• SeaGrant
