All books in the Circulating Collection on the second floor of the HCC
Library may be checked out.
Reference materials are shelved on the first floor and are for library-use only.
Most books are arranged according to Library of Congress
Classification.
Each special collection has a prefix indicating its location. For example, books with the prefix HawPac belong in the Hawaii Pacific collection on the second floor.
Use the Hawaii Voyager online catalog to locate books by subject, title, author, or keywords.
General reference books (such as dictionaries, encyclopedias,
directories, atlases, and almanacs) and special works which support the liberal arts and the technical-occupational programs of Honolulu Community College
