Composition
There are three Division Curriculum Committees (one for Divisions 1 and 2, one for Divisions 3 and 4, and one for Divisions 5 and 6).
Individual committees may have distribution requirements among the represented division. Staggered two-year terms are mandated on each committee to provide continuity.
All full-time faculty who will not be physically absent from campus (i.e., on sabbatical/leave/exchange) are automatically nominated for DCC elections which are held each March.
Purpose
The Division Curriculum Committees represent the curriculum interests of each division and reviews course and program proposals originating within the division prior to those proposals being sent to the CPC.

Workload
Although this Committee meets only once a month, the workload for
the DCC can at times be very heavy. It is expected that proposals
be reviewed in depth and be evaluated within the context of
departmental and college-wide educational development plans.
