This Honolulu Community College Faculty Development Website received a National Council for Staff, Program and Organizational Development (NCSPOD) 2003 Innovation Award. NCSPOD an affiliate council of the American Association of Community Colleges. The NCSPOD Innovation Award recognizes innovative achievement in a program, activity, project, or event that demonstrates unique ideas, adaptations, creativity, and/or effectiveness in staff, program, and organizational development.

Jerry Cerny, HCC Faculty Development Coordinator, attended the 2003 NCSPOD Annual Conference in Denver, Colorado, to accept the award for the Faculty Development Committee and Honolulu Community College.
