1. Professional Development Money - the following items of discussion lead to the awarding of Faculty Professional Development money for the spring semester. Information on individual awards is available from the Faculty Development Coordinator upon request:
   • The committee members reviewed all applications for faculty awards and determined the total amount of funds requested.

   • The committee members reviewed past committee meetings to determine amount available to be awarded. The committee member decided to reserve $2400 for funding for two colleagues to attend the Hawaii Great Teachers Seminar on the Big Island this summer.

   • The committee members determined that they had enough funds to pay the total amount of "small funds" or awards less than $500.00. The remainder of the fund was divided up among those who requested for larger amounts.

   • Pat will check to see if she had a copy of the award letter.

   • Grace will contact the business office to inform them of the awards and send out the award letters.

   • It was suggested that in the future, the application request for a breakdown of what the funds would be used for.

1. The next meeting is scheduled for Friday, April 14, 1:00 pm, at a location TBA.
