JANUARY FACULTY DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE MINUTES

New Business

1. UH Foundation Account statement
   The committee members approved $150 for refreshments for the HS2HCC activity to be held on 2/23. Jerry will let the HS2HCC planners know and ask them to submit original receipts following the event for reimbursement.
2. Because of Coordinator Jerry Cerny's assignment to Administration for the spring semester, committee duties were identified and volunteers identified to facilitate each duty. The duties and the person facilitating each include:
   1. Faculty Development Committee Report - Jerry
   2. Faculty Development Website - Jerry
   3. 1st Friday Presentations - Rick
   4. graffiti/vandalism at HCC - Femar
   5. End of year party - Mario
   6. Faculty Professional Development Money - Pat
   7. Faculty Development Newsletter - Rona
   8. Mid Semester Evaluation Project - Ralph
   9. Koala Moa Chicken sales - Jerry
   10. Excellence in Education - Friday, March 2 - all

Next Meeting

Ralph Kam will be scheduling the February meeting at a day, time and place TBA.
