Health Office
Emergencies
- For life-threatening condition, call 911 immediately.
- Send someone to meet the emergency crew, if possible.
- Call Security at 284-1270 for further assistance.
- If no answer, weekday business hours call 845-9142 (Operations & Maintenance) or the Director of Administrative Services at 294-9123.
An incident report and/or UH Form 29 [PDF] should be completed and turned in immediately after any emergency to the Director of Administrative Services.
In the event of a serious injury or illness, an ambulance will be called and the client will be taken to the nearest emergency room at the expense of the client. If the injury is minor, call the Health Office and request to speak to the nurse at 845-9282 (voice/text). Anyone with an illness or injury beyond the nurse’s scope of practice will be referred to a medical provider. Do not proceed directly to the Health Office without first checking if the nurse is available. Student assistants working in the Health Office are not able to render first aid care.
Location
The Health Office is located in Building 2, Room 108A next to the women's restroom (across the wall between the elevator and the Bookstore window displays) and is open weekdays (except holidays) 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

- Limited nursing care (no Physician on staff)
- Health Screening for height, weight, Blood Pressure
- Health Educational brochures and reference material on Sexually Transmitted Diseases, HIV/AIDS, Drugs, Alcohol, Smoking, and more
- University endorsed Medical Insurance brochures
- First Aid care
- First Aid Kits refills for on-campus kits
- CPR and First Aid training
- Disability Accommodations for students with documented disabilities
