For Each Sail Plan Provide the Following Information:

    1. Date

    2. Description of the Route (Starting Point, Segments, Landing Place(s) and Plans for Anchoring or Mooring the Canoe; Final Destination)

    3. Assumed Wind Direction/Speed

    4. Total Distance to be Traveled

    5. Departure Time and Estimated Time of Arrival (Return to Starting Poing); NOTE: Sail must be completed within daylight hours.

    6. Total Time Elapsed (including any time allotted for landing)

    7. Crew Call and Pick Up Times

    8. Time and Direction of Sunrise and Sunset

    9. Moon Data

    10. Tide Data (4 per day, 2 highs and 2 lows)

    11. For Each Segment of Sail (See Sample on Back of This Sheet)

      • Bearing in Degrees; Bearing on Western Compass; Bearing on Star Compass

      • Distance to Be Traveled

      • Method of Propulsion / Speed: Sail (1/3 the speed of the wind), Paddle (approx. 2 knots); Tow (approx. 5 knots)

      • Time it Would Take To Travel that Distance (in Hours)
