Student Opportunity Fund Scholarship

This scholarship was created to provide tuition assistance to students at Honolulu Community College who demonstrate financial need.

Eligibility Requirements

  1. Classified at Honolulu CC (HCC) and enrolled at least half-time status.
  2. Hawaii high school graduate.
  3. Academic merit as demonstrated by a cumulative grade point average of 2.5.
  4. Demonstrated financial need as determined by an application of financial aid.

Application Requirements

  1. Complete the online scholarship application.
  2. Complete the 2008-2009 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Scholarship Amount

Amount to be determined by scholarship committee, not to exceed the cost of Honolulu CC tuition.

Application Deadline

Friday, August 1, 2008, 4:30 PM.
