Second Century Scholars Program

This scholarship was established to increase access for financial needy Native Hawaiian students to achieve a degree in higher education. Recipients must be of Native Hawaiian ancestry, accepted into a degree seeking program within the UH system, must demonstrate financial need by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and be enrolled at least half-time status.

Eligibility Requirements

  1. Students must be of Native Hawaiian ancestry.
  2. Accepted into a degree seeking program at Honolulu CC
  3. Must show demonstrated financial need by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  4. Enrolled at Honolulu CC at least half-time status (6 or more credits).

Scholarship Amount

Amount of Award: Dependent on student’s unmet need as determined through the financial aid process.

Application Deadline

When funds have been depleted.
