Honolulu CC Promising Hawaii High School Graduate Scholarship

This scholarship was established to promote quality educational programs through the recruitment of promising Hawaii high school graduates.

Eligibility Requirements

  1. Graduating senior from a Hawaii high school.
  2. Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  3. Classified at HCC and enrolled at least half-time status (6 credits).
  4. Bona fide Hawaii residents (excludes non-residents, non-resident tuition exempts, foreign).
  5. Completion of COMPASS placement test to meet program prerequisites for math and English.

Application Requirements

  1. Complete online scholarship application
  2. Submit University of Hawaii System Application Form (Admission’s Application) to the Honolulu CC Admissions Office.
  3. Submit copy of your most recent high school transcript showing your cumulative GPA to the Honolulu CC Financial Aid Office.
  4. Submit a copy of your COMPASS placement test scores to the Honolulu CC Financial Aid Office.

Scholarship Amount

Maximum award of $1,200 per year
