Charles R. Hemenway Scholarship [Hawaii Residents Only]

This scholarship was established in honor of Charles Reed Hemenway to assist needy undergraduate students within the University of Hawaii in meeting their college costs and/or living expenses.

Eligibility Requirements

  1. Bona fide Hawaii residents (excludes non-residents, non-resident tuition exempts, foreign).
  2. Classified at HCC and enrolled at least half-time status.
  3. Character and qualities indicative of good citizenship.
  4. Meet Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress policies.
  5. Demonstrated financial need as determined by an application for financial aid.

Application Requirements

  1. Complete online scholarship application.
  2. Complete the 2008-2009 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Scholarship Amount

Maximum of $500 per year
