Summer 2009 Schedule

next term schedule is here

These are suggested dates to keep on pace. Lessons can be done in any order and at any time.  Do not wait until the end of the  semester and send them all at once. The instructor reserves the option of deducting points for  the extra burden of grading  multiple lessons during the grading 'crunch' at the end of the semester.

Report and exam dates are fixed and firm. Points will be deducted for late submissions.

* The earthwatch log (EW) is a report of a series of ten recent geological events that occur throughout the course and submitted at the end of the course. It should be a brief summary of each event, the cause of the event, and the human impact of the event. Grading is heavily based on the spread of dates throughout the semester.
