"Next to the Tyrannosaurus rex head is the Tyrannosaurus rex skull, which is again from the American Museum of Natural History in New York. It is an exact replica of one of the best-preserved T. rex skulls ever found, and one can see there again the large carnivore teeth. The white areas on the skull represent open spaces in the skull, for sinus cavities, nasal cavities, eye cavities, eardrums,
that sort of thing, making the skull quite a bit lighter. The T. rex was a very efficient killing machine, and the name Tyrannosaurus rex means, of course, 'king of the tyrant lizards'."

"We could not afford nor did we have the space for the full Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton, so we did also purchase here on the right a full Tyrannosaurus rex hind leg. It stands 12 to 13 feet tall as you can see there, and as you look at this leg, the bones of the feet and the leg, you can see very much the connection with birds. You have the three-toed foot there, and you have the structure of the leg that is very much like a modern bird today."
