Auto Body Repair for the Beginner
This course is for people who are on a tight budget, planning on keeping their car longer, and who don't know anything about the repair or care of their car's body. You will be given ideas and tips on care and repair of the car body, such as how to repair minor nicks, dings or scratches and how to sand and work with plastic filler. You will be given opportunities to practice repairing nicks, dings, and scratches on flat surfaces and compound curves on practice panels.
Class Dates: First Session: Oct 3, 10, 17
Second Session: Nov 14, 21, 28
Class Days: Saturdays
Class Time: 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
Total Class Hours: 18 hours

Auto Body Painting for the Beginner
You will learn and practice the skills needed to paint a car. Skills include the care and operation of a spray gun, masking and panel preparation, undercoat application, and topcoat application (basecoat and clear coat). A paint respirator is required.
Recommended preparation: Auto Body Repair for the Beginner.
