Topics to be covered in this course will include steering systems diagnosis and repair (steering columns and manual steering gears, power assisted steering units, steering linkage); suspension systems diagnosis and repair (front and rear suspensions, miscellaneous service); wheel alignment diagnosis, adjustment and repair; wheel and tire diagnosis and repair. This is not a hands-on training class.

Manual Drive Trains & Axles

Topics to be covered in this course will be clutch diagnosis and repair, transmission diagnosis and repair, transaxle diagnosis and repair including ring and pinion gears; differential case assembly; limited slip differential; axle's shafts; and four-wheel drive component diagnosis and repair. This is not a hands-on training class.

Heating and Air Conditioning

Topics to be covered in this course will be diagnosis and repair of A/C systems, components, heating and engine cooling systems and control units. The course will also cover compressors and clutch evaporators, receiver/drier, condenser, electrical, vacuum and controls, The ASE Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling Reviews and quiz will be administered in this class to meet State of Hawaii Certification. This is not a hands-on training class.

Electrical/Electronics Systems
