Career Assessments
We provide 2 assessments that are available for all HCC Students. If you are interested in taking either The Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) or the Strong Interest Survey (STRONG), please contact Silvan Chung at schung@hcc.hawaii.edu to schedule your appointment.
Career Assessments are reserved for Enrolled Honolulu Community College Students only.
Myers Briggs Type Indicator – MBTI
This assessment looks at personality preferences. It takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. The results will be interpreted in person. You will be given a summary of your results as it relates to career preferences.
Strong Interest Survey – Strong
The Strong takes a look at your interest, skills, and values. It takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. This assessment is offered online. The results will be interpreted in person. You will be given a summary of your results results as it relates to various occupations and industries.
